Himidor Gell Pads.

Hi guys, would like to introduce myself. I am a cigar newbie from Darwin, I have recently only entered the world of cigar smoking after an overseas trip. I have been smoking now for about 4 months and have really only smoked Cubans. I have also recently purchased my first Humidor which is a 400ct Humidor. Its up and running at about 65% percent and my cigars are smoking very well.

 

It is good to see an Australian cigar forum as I am having extreme difficulty purchasing cigar paraphanalia, there is nothing here in Darwin but I am even having difficulty inter-state. I am looking for some gell pads to buy without having to go o/s to get them can anyone point me in the right direction to buy some gell pads for my humidor.

 

Any ways hope to learn alot from the cigar Afficianado's on this site.

I have just come from a Holiday in Sydney guys, and I went to Cohibar. Prices were reasonable as far as drinks go, they had a reasonable range of cigars also. I went mid week at around 8pm it was empty but the views were magnificent over Darling Harbour. I would recommend to any one. From memory last drinks were at 1am on a Wednesday night.

Sounds like a good idea.

I have heard mixed reviews about Cohibar. Pleasant atmosphere, but turns into a sort of nightclub at night with loud music. I heard of people asking for the music to be turned down so you can have a conversation only to be rudely talked to with "if you don't like it....."

But I'm up for it. Lets do this. Are there others who can join us?

It would be best to go midweek like I did on a Wednesday Hasan it was almost, empty. I do have 7 hours in Sydney on the way back from Tassie on the 8th Jan I may be able to swing it, I would have to check times though.

Thank you Hasan, it is a shame I was not able to catch up for a smoke in Sydney. I just replied to the other thread reference Cohibar. I was there the other night I thoroughly recommend the bar, especially at night.

Yes, no such thing as picnic day here, so I went down to the collection centre, I got a card in the mail I think they have my RYJ Belicosos and Cohiba Maduro Secretos but it was closed, I was most disappointed. We hav very poor post here in Darwin.

Maybe worth someone removing the published address too.

I tried to mate but you have to friends on this site to do so. I dont think it is a big deal on this site, cigar sites usually have addresses so people can bomb each other. But I will remove it just in case.
