Brendan Daley replied to Mark Thompson's discussion Everything you ever wanted to know about Cuban Cigars
"A great site, and Trevor (the site author) is a great guy. He's put countless hours of time and effort into this - one of the most comprehensive on Cubans, constantly being updated. And he's an Aussie!"

Brendan Daley replied to Joshua B's discussion What are you smoking today?
"Last night a Diplomaticos 4 from an 07 box, beautiful! What a shame HSA has discontinued this vitola and it's little brother the #5 in 2010. Only leaves the Diplo 2 in production. A sad fate for one of the better mild Cubans."

Brendan Daley replied to Mark Thompson's discussion Lighting your Cigar Whats the best method ?
"Hi Mark, I don't know if I'd use a mtach to light cigars. Wouldn't you get a sulphur-like taste from the match-head etc, and the wood aroma from the match? It seems I prefer the jet lighters, I managed to get one that has a normal…"

Thanks Brendan, I am a photography enthusiast and many of the photos on my blog are my own and many are those of others, mostly friends. Most of them I have come across through my work as a form of consultant.

Thanks Brendan. I'm a friend of Matt Cobcroft and he got me on here. I've had a few Willem cigarillos which I wasn't all that impressed with. Had my first full sized cigar today with Matt which I quite liked. I'm a student though, so it was quite cheap. I'll be looking at trying out a few more soon.

Sorry pressed the wrong button as I was trying to make a correction on previous post try again.
I get my cigars from HK through http://www.cigarsofhabanos.com/. Worked out at $222US and then add Aus tax on arrival. Still very reasonable price well under what I have to pay in Perth for a good smoke. Just waiting for my next lot to arrive RyJ Churchills and some shorts. I will be able to put them into my new humidor that I managed to bid on in Ebay. Been a good weekend so far.

I have some very nice Hoyo de Monterrey; Epicure No.2's, sitting in my home made humidor (just waiting for my first real one to arrive in the post, part of my birthday present) . If I am lucky I may even get some Romeo y Julieta Churchills on order from HK that I would love to arrive in time. I do have an Romeo YJulieta Escudos EL 2007 on hold from my brother in law but would like to save that for my holidays in a couple of weeks. Think it will be the Epicure No.2's, which is no hardship but will bravely battle on with a brandy or two :~)

G'day Brendan, thanks for the welcom mate. I'm kinda new to cigars, discovered some no name Dominican Robustos whilst my ship was conducting humanitarian aid in Vanuatu......tough gig that one (insert emoticon of bloke with sunglasses on, a smoke in his mouth and a beer in his hand), so still on the wonderful journey of discovery. Like Don Diego Robustos, and have just ordered some Perdomo Grand Cru's, which i'm looking bloody forward to and don't mind the tried and true Romeo y Juliet #2's.
Cheers buddy, look forward to learning alot from you mob.
Have a good'en.
