Thanks all but Baranows stock is run out of the CAO and my understanding is Swedish match lost the rights in Australia so hence my question

I am often in LA and do this. Priority mail is usually less than a week and in actual fact rides on Fedex as they have a US mail contract for intl mail.

I usually have my cigars shipped to a fellow BOTL in the US, he shrink wraps (or gallon size ziplock) the box with a small Boveda, then ships to me. Normal USPS shipping is about $20, but with tracking, it's $30-$45. I've had boxes arrive…

Baranows in Hawthorn carry CAO ( or have in the past, I have not been there for a while ) but the range is limited. I would rather get mine from the US anyway.

I have ordered several different CAOs from US - all great, and no issues. CAOs are a good cigar. Your right about costing cheaper from US even if taxed. I too no nothing about Australian suplies of CAOs.

Hi Stephen, It can be very cost effective to buy from the US if you don't get taxed. When you do it does still turn out cheaper. However there is a drawback. You have to wait quite long for shipping (during which time who knows what RH and…
